Then, using a microneedling device with a sterile tip, your PRP is meticulously and strategically needled into the first few layers of your skin. Don’t worry, a numbing cream is applied first to alleviate discomfort! This process enhances collagen and elastin production in the skin while also being very anti-microbial, which means many people experience results such as diminishing of fine lines and wrinkles and acne as well as acne scars! For those deeper wrinkles or scars, PRP can be injected directly into them to plump them up and concentrate healing directly to those areas that need it. My wife and I have both been treated by Dr. Solt with stem cell injections in both knees for deteriorated cartilage during 2019. We also received IV injections of our own stem cells as well to treat fibromyalgia (wife) and osteoarthritus (husband).
