Rotator
Cuff Tears
Inner Title

Inner Sub Title
The rotator cuff is a part of the shoulder that is composed of 4 main muscles:
- Supraspinatus – this is the most commonly injured of the group
- Infraspinatus
- Teres minor
- Subscapularis
Often times these muscles can be injured from overhead or lifting motions, and end up causing pain and decreased range of motion post injury. Depending on the severity of the injury, some people may lose the ability to lift their arm at all. To diagnose a rotator cuff tear, usually a physical exam and an MRI or ultrasound are performed. After assessment of the degree of damage, treatment can be determined.
Every tear (except a complete and full tear) is a candidate for regenerative medicine. Utilizing things like PRP, stem cells, or amniotic products, we can strategically inject these into the area of damage to encourage healing and repair, without the need for surgery or drugs. The type of treatment will depend on factors such as your age, overall health status, and degree of severity of damage.
